Kendriya Vidyalaya No-2, FCI Gorakhpur was established May- 2003 as a CIVIL SECTOR KV. It was established initially to impart education to wards of employees of defence and other Central Govt Employees. However with the admission Policy made flexible in accordance with the running demand and popularity of KVS, the Vidyalaya has accommodated all qualified and eligible candidates of floating population with in the sanctioned strength.
Kendriya Vidyalaya No-2, FCI Gorakhpur is situated in pollution free campus of FCI, which is nearly 12 KM from railway station Gorakhpur. Vidyalaya is housed in Single /double storied building with 44 classrooms and separate rooms for art, music, library, yoga and scout/guide. With its child oriented, all round education, although Vidyalaya is new yet attaining new heights of glory in both academics and co-curricular fields year after year.
